The Heart of Rescue

This summer, we have received far more enquiries asking us to help wildlife than we ever expected.

At the moment, we only have enough suitable space to safely care for one large bird at a time. We are hoping to change that and you can help us do it. 🐦💚

We are raising £300 to build a second temporary wildlife enclosure, giving us more capacity to help injured or vulnerable birds in Dundee and provide them with a safe space to recover.

Having a second enclosure isn't just about taking in more birds. It will allow us to isolate new arrivals when necessary and introduce birds slowly and safely, even when they are the same species. This helps us reduce the risk of fighting and the spread of parasites or illness while allowing us to maintain the high standards of care we always strive to provide.

The £300 raised will go directly towards building materials, including secure wire mesh, roofing materials, timber posts, waterproof and wipe-clean flooring, fixings and other materials needed to create a safe and practical rehabilitation space.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to being able to say “yes” to the next bird that needs our help.
