Our Vision
Our dream is simple but bold: at Terra Nova Rescue we want to create more than a shelter, a place where animals and people can heal, learn, and grow together.
We want to build a five star rescue that gives animals comfort, enrichment, and dignity, while also helping people understand and connect with them on a deeper level.
Right now, we are starting where true rescue begins, in the community, through education, awareness, and compassion.
Year 1
Raising the Foundations
Right now, our focus is on building the foundation, raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and connecting with our community through workshops and events.
We believe rescue starts long before an animal needs a new home, it starts with education, compassion, and understanding.
Our current work focuses on:

Running local events and market stalls to raise funds and spread awareness.

Growing our support network so that when people face tough decisions with their pets, they don’t feel alone.
Support Along The Way
Terra Nova is beginning its journey through education workshops and community engagement, focusing on raising awareness and prevention around animal welfare issues.
By empowering people with knowledge and compassion, we are laying the groundwork for long term change, helping prevent neglect it starts.
From there, we will gradually expand towards direct rescue operations, developing a sustainable model that combines education, rehoming, and community support under one transparent framework.
For Animals and People
Terra Nova will be more than a rescue. It will be a community hub where people and animals heal, learn, and grow together.
Our centre will include:
